Practical informations

The rooms are at your disposal from 6:00 pm on the day of your arrival and until 11:00 am on the day of your departure.
Terms of Sales
Our aim is to provide you an excellent stay at the Auberge des Gorges de la Diosaz. In order to help us achieve this goal, we had put the following rules in place, which we thank you in advance for respecting before and during your stay.

Arrival and Departure

The rooms are available from 6:00 pm.

The rooms must be vacated not later than 11am on the day of the departure.

If you don’t, we reserve the right to invoice you an additional night. The hotel reception closes at 10:30 pm. If you will arrived after 6:30 pm, please inform us about your arrival hour by calling us +33 4 50 47 20 97 or when making your reservation.

Restaurant and Breakfast hours

Breakfast is served from 8:15 am until 9:30 am each day of the week.
During the weekend, breakfast is served from 8:30 am to 9:30 am.
Dinner is served in our restaurant from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm (time of the last order).

Means of payment

We accept MasterCard and Visa credit cards as well as cash and bank checks in euros.

For the hotel, we accept valid holiday vouchers with a validity date greater than 45 days from the date of presentation by the customer.

Reservation

The reservation only becomes effective upon receipt of the deposit. We reserve the right to take a deposit: up to 30% of the stay or 50% of the stay if it’s a group booking.

Any reservation, in order to be definitive, must be guaranteed by a credit card number accompanied by its expiration date and the three digits of the cryptogram on the back of your card. If the reservation is guaranteed by a check, it must be compensable with a banking establishment located in France.
When making a group restaurant reservation, the number of diners must be confirmed 72 hours before the date of the reservation. This number will be used as the basis for billing meals.

For the restaurant, if the customer wants to bring his own bottles of wine, it must be agreed during the reservation process. The establishment will charge a corkage fee of 20€ per opened bottle.

Groups reservation

Each reservation of 5 or more rooms will be considered as a group reservation. When booking, we will ask you for a deposit equal to 50% of the stay. As well as individual bookings, the deposit will not be refundable.

When making a group reservation for the restaurant the same conditions apply.

Children

There is no supplement for children under 3 sharing parents’ room. A baby’s cot can be reserved on request while making the reservation (subject to our availability).

Local taxes

Our rates do not include local tourist tax. It is 1€ per person over 12 years old and per night.

Cancellation

Every cancellation has to be confirm in writing.

In case of definitive cancellation and according to the measures provided by Article 1590 of the French Civil Code, « any security deposits paid remain definitively acquired ».

The total amount of the deposit mentioned in the « Reservation » paragraph will be conducted as follows: the cancellation period is at least 8 days before the scheduled date of arrival.

No penalty will be applied if the cancellation is notified to us by email or fax at least 8 days before the scheduled date of arrival.
If we receive the cancellation less than 8 days before the expected date of arrival, you will be charged a penalty of 50% of the amount of the stay and the deposit will not be returned in any way.

*We reserve the right to debit the deposit, and inform the customer in advance. In the absence of a deposit, we ask for the credit card number as a guarantee. In case of cancellation or for not showing up giving rise to the application of a penalty, we will automatically debit the credit card.

Customer’s absence

For any stay booked and not completed, if customers do not show up without warning us, 100% of the stay will be debited from the customer’s credit card.

Shortened stay

During the cancellation period or after your arrival, if you have to shorten your stay you will be billed 50% of the remaining stay. For any reservation made as a package (breakfast, half board or other packages), the services that will not be used will not be refunded.

Smoker

At the Auberge des Gorges de la Diosaz, it is forbidden to smoke in the rooms or in the public spaces. Every room is equipped with a very sensitive smoke detector. Deodorization fees, corresponding to an additional night will be applied if customers smoke in the rooms.

Car park and Vehicles

Public parking is available. Although all safety precautions are taken, we cannot accept responsibility for theft or damage to parked vehicles

Small pets and Dogs

At the Auberge des Gorges de la Diosaz, we share the view that pets are part of the family and they are welcome. A supplement of 10€ is required.

Only pets will be accepted, on condition that they are on a leash and do not stay alone in the rooms during the day.

Assistance and Advice

While making your reservation, our reception team will do his best to advice you on the local activities, events and entertainments.

Degradation and missing object

We will be obliged to invoice any damage made by the customer or theft of an object belonging to the hotel noted before check out or after departure.

Theft

The establishment declines any responsibility in case of theft.

Forgotten objects

For any items forgotten after departure, the delivery costs will be at your expense.

Environmental policy

We make our staff aware of the environment cause and train them to adopt good environmental
practice; while regularly evaluating our procedures and the means used.

Each cigarette butt will be thrown in the ashtrays made available to you outside the establishment.

A cigarette butt discarded in the wild (city, countryside, …) can take up to 12 years to disintegrate.

Disputes and Complaints

Any controversy, dispute or claim arising out of or related to these conditions will fall under the jurisdiction of the competent courts.

Change in conditions of stay

These conditions are subject to chance without notice.
